Welcome back everyone! Another wonderful Borrego Springs Art Guild season is beginning with our first luncheon to take place on Thursday Nov. 14 at The Ram’s Hill Clubhouse. Our very special guest speaker will be Michelle Hedgecock. She is an artist of blackout poetry. Blackout poetry is a fun exploration of word play, beginning with a source of printed text and creating a new story or meaning by “redacting” or blacking out existing text. No artistic/writing experience necessary. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch is served at noon. Michelle ’s presentation begins at 1 p.m. Lunch is $30 and includes beverage, entrée and dessert.
