Celebrating the Borrego Art Institutes 20th Anniversary this 2024 – 25 season. An incredible achievement for the Institute. BAI is recognized as an important art organization in the Southwest desert region and Southern CA art communities. Its growth has established BAI as a premier community center for the arts with a focus on educational classes for all ages and ArtPark the amazing out door portion of the Borrego Art Institute. Teaching us to create sustainable and eco friendly environment.

Wade Beane, new Executive Director of BAI, is planning community events, live performances, fundraising drives. October 5, BAI gallery opens with, show, The Art Of Flora And Fauna. An eclectic show featuring works in multiple mediums celebrating nature and wildlife.

Owners of The Palms At Indian Head, Cindy Wood and David Leibert have collaborated with Elizabeth Rodriguez, owner of The House Of Borrego Springs, West Gallery, to re open the Galleria at the hotel which is now renamed, The Gallery At The Palms.

David and Cindy wanted the new gallery to reflect an art selection that compliments the mid century modern decor of The Palms Hotel. Elizabeth brings her passion and knowledge of Mid Century Modern design/art to the gallery which she will translate to showing artworks that can reflect, in a complimentary way, esthetics of the mid century modern design era and works with a Borrego artistic flavor.

Season opening reception is October 19, 5p.m. to 7 p.m., BORREGO DAZE, new paintings and mixed media collages by Debbie Gallerani. ARTTALK with Debbie Gallerani will be Sunday October 20, 3 p.m. at The Gallery At The Palms.
