Dr. Homayoun Siman
Dr. Homayoun Siman is the new doctor in town, heading up Borrego Stat Care, specializing in primary care, dermatology, orthopedics and pain management, providing comprehensive healthcare tailored to individual needs.
Dr. Siman already has four other clinics, under the brand name, Stat Clinics, with a clinic in Palm Desert serving 16,000 patients.
The Borrego Stat Care Clinic is equipped with an EKG machine, and x-rays being available towards the end of the year. There is also a surgical room where procedures can be performed including skin cancer removal.
At this time, the Borrego Stat Care Clinic will be open Monday, Wednesday, Friday with Saturday to be soon included, and accepting insurances: Medicare, PPOs, and Primary Care associates of California. There will also be two full-time certified physician assistants attending the clinics.
Dr. Siman received his B.S. in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and earned his M.D. with Distinction in Research from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University after attending residency training in general surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and orthopedic surgery at NY Presbyterian.
He furthered his expertise with a research fellowship in hip and knee surgery at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Siman moved to the Coachella Valley in 2017 to take over practice at STAT Urgent Care. He currently resides in Palm Desert with his wife Janice, three daughters, and golden retriever Marty.
