Another Road Closure

On May 25, 2024, Borrego Springs Road will be closed from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Yaqui Pass Road to Highway 78.
Closures and Traffic Control Description:
Full Road Closure of Borrego Springs Road from Yaqui Pass Road to Highway 78
Access to Borrego Air Ranch from Yaqui Pass Road ONLY
This closure is in addition to the Montezuma Valley Road being closed on Friday May 24 and Saturday May 25 from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., as well.
At this time, this means there will be a full road closure of Montezuma Road from Palm Canyon Drive to Mile Marker #6 on both days. There will be local access to Ranchita from San Felipe Road to Mile Marker #6 ONLY.
No access to Ranchita from Borrego Springs while closure is in place, and vice versa.
This closure, however, serves a problem for many, especially residents, who are seeking to travel on Saturday May 25, as both roads in or out of Borrego will be closed.
