Jean Volmar passed away peacefully after a long illness on March 8, 2024.

Jean was a spirited, educated world traveler who loved life and being with people.

Jean passionately embraced her personal and professional life. Her magnetic personality and adventurous soul were contagious. She ardently embraced both and all the joy and friendships it brought her.

Her career was focused on the youth through her community's non-profit organizations; she worked diligently to develop and implement programs so that our youth, particularly teenage youth, would be better able to make ethical decisions for themselves and have a successful future.

After retiring, Jean volunteered in local non-profit organizations, sharing her spirit, skills, and enthusiasm.

Jean loved and never lost sight of her family. They were always dominant in her thoughts; she cherished every moment she shared with them. They always came first and gave her the most joy.

Jean is survived by her husband of 47 years, her daughter, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Jean was a beautiful, beautiful woman. She loved her life and lived it to the fullest. Jean was a loving mother, wife, confidant, and best friend. She will be dearly missed.
