Borrego Springs High School Athletes Earn Multiple Awards

It has been quite the busy season for Borrego Springs High School fall and winter sports! All these students-athletes have been working hard on and off the field/court, earning multiple awards for the season in their respective sports. Congratulations to all on a successful sports season!

Fall Sports Awards:

Football:

Coach Tim White was named Coach of the Year

MVP – Brody White (Offensive Player of the Year, and the Southern Conference’s CIFSDS Fall Sports Mission Fed Student Athlete of the Year, and Section Scholar Captain)

Offensive MVP – Chris Alcaraz

Defensive MVP – Wesley Sexton

Lineman of the Year – Jonathan Garcia

Special Teams Player of the Year – Pedro Rodriguez

Coach’s Award – Rigoberto Garcia

JV Girls Volleyball:

MVP – Melani Arias

Best Attacker – Alexandra Torres

Best Setter – Judith Fregoso

Coach’s Award – Elizabeth Hernández

Best Blocker – Camila Molina

Varsity Girls Volleyball:

Coach Alcaraz and Coach Mares were named Coach(es) of the Year
