I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and welcome to all of the arriving snowbirds. Daily rigs of all sizes and types are setting-up camp in Borrego Springs for the season and our wonderful weather.
At the Chamber the entire team is always looking for ways to help the community. Team Member Judy Lewis has been focused on having a County provided hazardous waste/recycling event in the new year. During the process she discovered that anyone 65 years of age and older is provided one annual free home pickup of hazardous waste from the “Our One Earth” SD County Hazardous Waste Center at 877-713-2784 (if using a landline dial 1). For more information about what hazardous waste is, brochures are available at the Chamber.
In other news, the Chamber Certified Farmers Market will not have any more holiday date changes and will run every Friday until our last one of the season on April 26, 2024.
