Fort Cross Old Timey Adventures, an educational adventure farm that specializes in living history field trips, is home to 12 acres of outdoor fun near the town of Julian. This small family business run by husband and wife team, Jesse and Doreen Cross, is something that few people know about but is steadily becoming a popular field trip and tourist destination.
The 8th annual Autumn Jubilee event will take place on Saturdays and Sundays starting September 23 and will continue through October 29.
Activities like archery, tomahawk throwing, slingshot range, farm animal visit, interactive reptile show, musical wagon rides, hoedowns & jug band shows, and much more, will all be available.
Activities included with a $5 general admission are the haunted lilac maze, pumpkin patch, walking trails, tire swings, tug-o-war, and other old-time games on the farm. Also happening during the upcoming spooky season is their annual Haunted Harvest event! Guests will enjoy music and dancing, ghost stories, and of course a haunted hayride every Saturday night in October.
"Pumpkin season is one of the most anticipated times of the year for us because fall is so popular in Julian," said Doreen Cross, co-owner of Fort Cross. "We meet people from all over that are so happy to come experience fun family memories during this time of year. It's a great honor for us to be a part of those memories for people."

Throughout the year, Fort Cross also offers U-pick berries and vegetables, a spring Lilac Festival with 5 acres of lilacs that are available to the public, and a Holiday Hayride event on Thanksgiving weekend.
