Borrego Sun - Since 1949

Thanks to a grant received from the Borrego Valley Endowment Fund, the Borrego Village Association sponsored a First Aid – CPR Certification course on June 9.

In two separate sessions 17 Borrego Springs High School students, and 27 community members, completed the course requirements to earn certification in First Aid and CPR.

The course was led by certified instructor Colin Macdonald from KitFox Outfitters in Ramona. These practical health skills will help make our community, and those who visit here, safer and healthier.

Due to the interest shown in the course we will be offering, free of charge for residents of Borrego Springs, the four hour First Aid – CPR Certification once again in October on a date to be determined.
