Senator Kelly Seyarto is proud to honor Bridgette Moore, Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Wildomar, as the 2023 Woman of the Year for the 32nd Senate District.
Every March, in celebration of Women's History Month, the California Legislative Women's Caucus invites State Senators and Assemblymembers to select an outstanding woman from their district to recognize for her significant contributions to her community.
"Bridgette Moore is most deserving of this award," said Senator Seyarto. "As a member of the inaugural City Council of Wildomar, the first woman Mayor of Wildomar, and a tireless volunteer who has not only participated in but organized efforts to better her community, she has shown time and time again how fortunate we are to have her in the 32nd District. It is my privilege to be given this opportunity to highlight her hard work and accomplishments and thank her for her public service."
Moore has been involved in the Wildomar community since moving there with her husband, Stewart, and son, Jake, over two decades ago. She is committed to bettering the lives of all residents and along with serving on the City Council since 2008; she has been actively involved with many organizations, including the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Auxiliary, the Wildomar Rotary Club, the Wildomar Historical Society, Cops for Kids, and Operation Prom Girl.
She was also a founder of the Wildomar Beautification Project and has rallied volunteers to pick up trash around the City with the goal of making it a more attractive and safe place. Moore's passion is to enhance people's quality of life through better transportation, access to services, Veteran concerns, and public safety.
On March 20, Mayor Pro Tem Moore was invited to Sacramento to participate in the Women of the Year formal Senate Floor recognition ceremony where she was presented with an award from the Legislative Women's Caucus and a framed resolution from Senator Seyarto.
