"BMA Says Thank You"

The Borrego Ministers Association wishes to thank the Borrego Sun and writer Michael Sadler for the recent articles highlighting our extensive social service efforts in the Borrego community over the past 10 years and especially during the last two years of COVID disruptions suffered by local Borrego families.

We meet weekly to consider emergency financial requests, and follow up on the resolution of critical situations brought to our attention. We wish to thank our donors who make this work possible.

Please come join us. During the year, the BMA sponsors several ecumenical or joint public services: a service on Thanksgiving eve, another Sacred Concert of carols and readings at Christmas, a recent Ash Wednesday “Ashes-to-go” distribution, and the popular Easter Sunrise Service. The group also welcomes lay members who are available to attend weekly meetings.

If you are interested in serving, please contact us by calling BMA member Shirley Vialpando at 760-767-5417.

We ask for your continued compassion and donations to support the BMA at the end of this 2022 tourist season, as our local workers face reduced paychecks over the summer. Donations can be made at the BMA website: https://borregoministersassociation.org/.

Contributions can also be sent to BMA, PO Box 2183, Borrego Springs California 92004. The BMA Facebook page: Borrego Ministers Association.

There, you can donate and also read more about our work. Thank You.
