School Mask Mandate

Governor Gavin Newsom announced on Feb. 28 that the statewide school mask mandate will expire on March 11, 11:59 p.m.
Masks will still be strongly recommended in schools, and local jurisdictions may add additional requirements.
Starting March 1, masks will no longer be required indoors for unvaccinated people.
