COVID Expectations Through Summer in Borrego Springs

From the COVID-19 Task Force...

During the past three weeks, new cases of COVID-19 have decreased to much lower levels than we experienced after the holidays. Cases are expected to remain fairly low through this coming summer.

Approximately one-third of our population remains especially susceptible to becoming infected. As a consequence, the Borrego Springs COVID-19 Task Force has decided to remain active through the remainder of this season. Our focus will be to help protect susceptible population groups.

Thereafter, the Task Force will take a sabbatical at least until another surge of COVID-19 occurs in Borrego Springs.

We have prepared a document (https://accesshealthborrego.org/covid19-expectations-for-summer-2022/) to inform residents of the COVID-19 situation in Borrego Springs and to provide current information for susceptible residents about effective means to prevent severe illness or to seek effective care when exposed or infected.
