We residents need to decide, and donors and a clinic operator will want to know if there is significant community support for a primary and urgent care clinic. Please complete a short survey, which contains the following questions in a convenient format and process.

The survey asks the following questions:

Do you think access to healthcare is a concern of residents of Borrego Springs?

Do you think Borrego Springs needs another primary care clinic?

Should a new clinic be open extended hours and on weekends and holidays?

If a primary & urgent care clinic was opened in Borrego Springs, would you and/or members of your household use it for some or all visits instead of where you receive primary & urgent care today?

If a new clinic was opened here, do you think it should also have additional services to minimize the need for residents to travel outside Borrego Valley for care?

If additional services were provided, how many additional visits might you or a family member make to the clinic per year?

How many times in the last year did you or members of your household travel outside of Borrego Springs to receive primary care and/or urgent?

What type(s) of medical insurance coverage do you and members of your household have?

How much of the year are you in Borrego Springs?

Are you under or over age 65?

Your responses will be very important to whether we can go forward and, if so, to the design of the clinic.

The survey will close Monday March 23 at 5 p.m. So, please take the survey now by going to http://www.accesshealthborrego.org and click on “Take the Survey”. The confidentiality of your information will be protected. Survey findings will be released on March 31.
