The Borrego Springs girls soccer team kicked into the 2019 – 20 season Nov. 19 with a match at home against the Lady Bobcats of Hamilton.

Despite a 6 – 3 loss in their home opener, the Lady Rams had much to cheer about. Senior Blanca Arias, sophomore Vanessa Delgado, and junior Daniela Carmona each scored a goal, while sophomore goalkeeper Natalia Carmona had 20 saves. This was the first goal they scored since Feb. 10, 2016.

Their next game is at Guajome Park Academy Dec. 3, 3 :15 p.m.
