After what seemed like a long summer hiatus, the Rams Hill Golf Club is open once again, ready to start another season.

Their buffet and dance party kicked off their season in style, with over 100 guests in attendance at the Nov. 2 event.

As many enjoyed the wonderful golf scenery beside the flaming fire place, guests enjoyed their drinks while listening and dancing to the musical stylings of Linda Rae and Breakhearts Pass Band.

Linda Rae is an award-winning veteran vocalist and entertainer, having a sure flamboyant stage presence with velvety vocals, delivering various songs from all genres.

If folks weren't enjoying the fire place, they sure had fun working on their tip shots using tennis balls. Bill Berkley took a few swings, even sinking in a hole-in-one.

They also added a few games like miniature soccer and corn hole for folks while enjoying their meatball stuffed mushroom and tomato salmon pomade on sliced bread appetizers.

After adjusting a few things from last year's opener, they moved furniture from the bar area to make room for the appetizers, giving guests a chance to move around more freely.

The new furniture and decor of the newly-renovated Rose room gave an elegant ambiance to the restaurant dining room, while giving it a more modern vibe with its booth-like seating and hard wood gray tables, enhancing the spectacular golf course view.

Another change from last year was having guests spread out through the restaurant, enjoying all they had to offer.

Guests were able to enjoy the buffet outside with the view of the golf course or inside with a more intimate classic vibe.

They enjoyed the delicious servings of salad, stir fry vegetables, hearty, well-seasoned hand carved prime rib and roasted turkey breast, and vegetarian meat loaf. For dessert, an ice cream bar with various toppings, as well as minature key lime cheesecake, chocolate mousse and dessert tarts.

With such style and grace, the staff at the Rams Hill Golf Club made all the guests felt welcomed, being sure everyone enjoyed their Saturday night at its season opener.

Going into his third season as General Manager and COO, Hary Turner commented that the party was a "huge success," thanking his staff for their hard work and is ready for another memorable season at Rams Hill.
