The Borrego Water District has notified the community via mail that they will increase water and sewere rates.

The FY2020 water commodity rate will increase 6%, sewer rates 4% and water base rate (monthly meter fee) 5%, according to the notice.

These increases will be effective July 1, and beginning with the August billing.
