Mandatory Metering for Borrego Springs

The water advisory committee for the ground water sustainability plan (GSP) made its first policy recommendation Monday Nov. 27, to mandate metering of all wells in the Borrego Springs sub-basin that extracts more than two acre feet per year.
It was a historic vote, with others forthcoming.
