Despite the hard work and dedication, Attila Domos has had to pull out of the 6 - 12 - 24 race and his world record attempt at the thirteenth hour.

Although Domos has unofficially broken the record in the past, Borrego's roads saw the end to the athletes dream. The surface of the roads through the course caused a head injury during training, which proved impossible to recover from.

With each lap his headaches increased and despite his crew attempting all sorts of fixes, Domos has had to accept that the dream is over for this attempt.

Domos is currently on his way to hospital with crew members and an update will be provided when possible.
