Car Fire on Montezuma Valley Road

At around 10:33 a.m., Friday Oct. 27, units responded to a car fire on Montezuma Valley Road, near mile marker 12.4.
The cause of the fire was due to overheating. The male driver of the Ford pickup walked away with no injuries.
The fire was contained at approximately 10:55 a.m., and did not reach any vegetation.
California Highway Patrol officers are controlling traffic, and one lane is closed for approximately 30 minutes.
