Borrego Springs Library Gives Thanks

The Borrego Springs Library would like to thank the Mall shop owners, local businesses, and volunteers who participated and donated to the hugely successful Halloween bash at The Mall.
We had hundreds of people turn out for this special event that included face painting, a cake walk, pumpkin painting, a stilt walker, a costume contest and much more.
We especially wanted to thank the following businesses for their generous gift and prize donations: Anza Borrego Desert Natural History Center, Anza Borrego Foundation, Bike Borrego, Borrego Outfitters, Calico’s, Carlee’s, Carmelita’s, Center Market, Décor Shoppe, Desert Pantry, Desert Robin, Ermelinda Salon, Frugal Coyote, Fudge Factory, Graphics by Designs, J&T Tire, Keslings, Red O, USA Martial Arts, & Zippers Creations.
We would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped with everything from decorating, baking cakes, candy donations, making crafts, photography, and crowd control. A huge thanks to the entire Zipper family for their time and energy acquiring prizes and providing needed support and to Fred Jee for his MC skills and P/A system.
Again, a big THANK YOU from the Borrego Springs Library to everyone who made the event such a huge success! We look forward to doing it again next year!
