Anza-Borrego Desert State Park To Collect Day Use Fees At Visitor Center

California State Parks will begin collecting day use fees at the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park visitor center beginning Nov. 3.

The day use fee is $10 per vehicle, and will be collected Friday through Sunday, and on holidays. The fee ticket will be valid at any state park in the Colorado Desert District or the State Park System for the date of purchase.

While entrance to the park is free, visitors have to pay day-use fees to park at some popular areas.

Anza-Borrego is home to the largest California state park offering a unique charm and beauty from the colorful Borrego badlands east of Borrego Springs to the forested slopes of the Laguna Mountains, and a diverse plant and wildlife habitat. The park also offers hiking, camping, and a fascinating geology among other activities.
