Sculptures Find New Home Around Borrego Springs

The 30 metal statues of Galleta Meadows that were previously located in the Indian Head community, have all been officially relocated to a new area in Borrego Springs.
The Avery siblings provided an official statement regarding the relocation of the statues.
"The statue traffic has grown beyond what anyone expected and the vehicular traffic at Indian Head has become overwhelming. We are moving the statues so the public can continue to enjoy them while removing the traffic into Indian Head Ranch."
The new statues map with the new locations for these 30 statues can be found on pages 24-25 of the 2018 Borrego Springs Village Guide, the 10th anniversary edition.
The guides can be found at the Chamber of Commerce, which is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Guides will also be distributed at the Orange Directories booth adjacent to the chamber booth during Borrego Days.
