Several local businesses located in the Mall, together with a Julian -based microbrewery, have teamed up to sponsor the second annual Pints 4 the Park fundraiser for Anza-Borrego Foundation, the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park's official partner.

The event will be held Borrego Days Weekend, Saturday October 21 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at the Mall plaza, outside Borrego Outfitters & Carmelita's. An expected 300 attendees will enjoy a pint of craft beer from Nickel Beer Company, some tasty snacks from Carmelita's, and some good conversation and camaraderie with fellow outdoor-minded folk.

Sponsored by Mall businesses Borrego Outfitters, Carmelita's and Fredericks Ancient & Ethnic Art, as well as Julian's Nickel Beer Company, all proceeds will go to Anza-Borrego Foundation and its mission to support the Park.

Local businesses provide an important means of support for non-profits like the Anza Borrego Foundation.

Tickets for Pints 4 the Park are $15 and include a commemorative steel pint, a one pint pour of Nickel Beer and appetizers from Carmelita's Mexican Grill & Cantina.
