Saturday Sept. 23 at around 11:00 a.m. Cal Fire San Diego crews responded to a motorcycle accident at Highway 78 and Yaqui Pass Road.

Air ambulance was requested and the roads were closed while one patient was transported to the hospital.

There is no word on what caused the accident or the current state of the driver.

Highway 78 and Yaqui Pass Road are open.
