West Shores Parks Improvements - Update

Hats off to the hard-working, hard-thinking, community-oriented Salton Community Services District Board and work crews.
Recent weeks have seen the finalization of upgrades to the community park at Desert Shores; these upgrades include bringing the restrooms up to ADA-compliant status (including ramps and other necessary apparatus), repainting the building and working toward a permanent maintenance and upkeep plan.
Salton City Park is also blossoming: the oleanders have been removed as have old, dead or dying trees; there are plans (and $$$) for a baseball diamond, soccer field, an eight-lane track (for track and field events) and shade structures.
