Prayer Circle Today for Meredith Pratt

Following the passing of Meredith Pratt during the early hours of this morning, a Prayer Circle will be held today, Saturday, August 19 at 5:30 p.m. prior to the fundraising event.
The residents of Borrego Springs are coming together to help local Borregan Meredith Pratt.
A fundraiser will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday Aug. 19 at the American Legion Post 853.
There will be chicken for $10, tri-tip for $12 or both for $15 with salad, beans or rolls.
Lynda Montgomery Schwartz at The Bottle Shoppe is looking for donations in order to hold a silent auction and raffle drawing at the event. Live entertainment is also required for the evening. If you can help, please call - 760 - 767 - 5513.
Meredith Pratt was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer 10 months ago. She underwent chemotherapy, followed by immunotherapy, where liquid began to fill up one of her lungs while the other had to be drained daily. She is having a second treatment this week in hopes of preventing more liquid buildup. Her husband Doc continues to support her and has put his work on hold to take care of her.
