Mias Brush Fire - UPDATE

The Mias brush fire in the Riverside County, north of Banning, burned 545 acres and has been 95 percent contained, as of Friday Aug. 18 at 8:22 a.m.
The brush fire began early Tuesday Aug. 15 and was five percent contained that day. It was sparked by a weakened tree branch from an active beehive that fell into the power lines Monday Aug. 14, according to the Cal Fire/ Riverside County Fire Department news release.
By the morning of Wednesday Aug. 16, firefighters were able to contain 50 percent of the fire.
Firefighters, air tankers and water-dropping helicopters are still working at the scene to get the fire completely extinguished.
