GB Sciences, Inc. Agrees to Terms With the Los Coyotes Band and Cupeno Indians

GB Sciences, Inc. and the Los Coyotes Band of Cahuilla and Cupeno Indians have come to an agreement to establish a cannabis operation on the tribe's lands near Warner Springs.
This is the first time a publicly traded U.S. cannabis cultivation company and a federally recognized Native American tribe have announced a commercial cannabis venture in California.
The company will build and operate facilities in designated areas of the tribal lands to grow and manufacture, as well as other commercial activities.
Los Coyotes will receive 40 percent of the net profits and 10 percent of that will fund tribe's children's education and elder assistance programs.
