Crossing Fire in Shelter Valley Area

A residential fire has spread to a wildland fire and extended into Shelter Valley, west of Scissors Crossing, east of Julian #78.
Cal Fire San Diego has managed to stop the Crossing Fire at one acre of heavy brush. Crews are said to be continuing work for the next several hours for mopping up.
There is no word on how the fire started.
