ABF Looks For Funding

The Anza-Borrego Foundation (ABF) is looking to use the parks recent additional exposure in the media, to provide additional opportunities for visitors to 'get info about the Park, its resources, adult education programming, youth environmental education camp opportunities and more out to our communities so we can grow our pool of supporters and ultimately the health of the Park.' according to a recent release.

Two grants have been applied for, however, ABF are looking for public support to help fund the additional development of a mobile application to help visitors navigate the Park with information on specific points of interest, maps, facts about the area and safety guidelines. The total project cost: $40,000

The ABF Board of Trustees has kicked off the summer matching campaign with a generous donation totaling over $5,000. They have also received $10,000 from the County Neighborhood Reinvestment Program.
