The elementary school recorded temperatures of 124.7F Wednesday, June 21, Highest temperature reading was two degrees above the previous high of 122 degrees, which was recorded in Borrego Springs on June 20, 2016.
That reading had tied the previous record high for the county, a figure also set in Borrego Springs according to forecasters.
