An early morning crash that apparently involved a beer truck, tow truck and tour bus left boxes of Budweiser strewn about and prompted the closure of lanes on the 10 Freeway near the Salton Sea on Saturday, June 3, according to initial reports.
The incident was reported about 1:30 a.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Red Cloud Mine Road, according to a California Highway Patrol log.
Initially, the left lane of the two-lane eastbound side was closed and a SigAlert was issued. That lane was opened up shortly after 3:30 a.m. and the right lane was then closed, according to the log.
The right lane still appeared to be closed a little after 6 a.m.
