Your Borrego Springs American Legion, Post 853, is hosting six combat veterans who are hiking the Pacific Crest Trail through a program sponsored by Warrior Expeditions. These veterans have recently served in Afghanistan and/or Iraq.

The Warrior Hikers arrive on Saturday to rest and replenish before heading back out to the trail on Sunday.

On Sunday, a hearty pancake breakfast is being served before they leave our town and continue their journey.

This is an invitation to join us for breakfast to meet and support these young men.
