Salton Sea - Fatal Crash March 11

California Highway Patrol are investigating a four-vehicle crash near the Salton Sea which killed one person and hospitalized two others on Saturday morning, March 11.
The crash was reported about 7 a.m. on Grapefruit Boulevard north of Highway 111 in Mecca, according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire news release.
Two people were seriously injured, the release says, and were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Officials say a third person died at the scene.
