In grand style, the Can-Am Borrego Cup arrived via helicopter on the afternoon of Thurs. Feb. 23, landing on the 9th fairway of the Springs at Borrego Golf Course to offload golfing's Wonder Woman Brandy Casey and the highly coveted trophy.

The trophy stood watch over the crowded Dreamcatcher Amphitheater as pairings were announced for the 2-day event, to be held Friday and Saturday.

Canada won last year's trophy by a single match, and going into the 8th annual tourney, Americans have won 3, Canada 1, and there have been 3 ties.
