It might be time to grab a kayak if you're heading out and about in Borrego today as the rain has been falling steadily all morning.
Due to a low pressure system coming in from the northwest, a plume of subtropical moisture directed into northern Baja is bringing periods of heavy rainfall which should last through this evening.
Rainfall in the mountains is expected to be 2 to 3 inches causing small stream flooding expected with isolated flash flooding possible.
Today will see a high of 63f, however by Saturday temperatures could hit 80f.
