Trouble at Toro Peak

The following update was provided by USA Communications staff on the problems they faced with the snow on Toro Peak:-
USA Communications Update:
Pilots have given an allclear for a helicopter first thing Wednesday morning to take our crews up to service our mountain top signal transmission equipment and remove ice and snow from the dishes.
Our back up plan is to have crews ready to hike up from the Palm Springs side as we battle these issues & Mother Nature.
We are accelerating plans to bring in crews to build a secondary fiber backup line out of the valley. We LOVE Borrego and feel the weight of this outage deeply.
