The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northwestern San Diego County.

Doppler radar indicates a severe thunderstorm/squall capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was just off the coast of Oceanside, and moving east northeast at 35 mph.
