Rally for Healthcare

Local resident Kathleen Gugg gathered support for a Bernie Sanders Healthcare Rally at Christmas Circle in conjunction with others held around the country on Sat. Jan 14. "We met at the circle at 9 am and stayed until 11 am." said Gugg who was joined by other residents holding placards.
Signs highlighted many different concerns but most were for Healthcare for all Americans. "A majority of cars, bicycles, and people enjoying Christmas circle were very encouraging and we even had a man visiting from Switzerland stop his car to chat with us." stated Gugg, "There were only three instances were our fellow citizens were rude and confrontational, to them I say stand up and get your message out."
If you would like to be a part of the next rally, residents are invited out again out on Saturday Jan. 21, from 9 am to 11 am, in support of the national women's rally.
