A potentially strong Santa Ana weather pattern will develop Thursday evening, bringing strong Santa Ana winds Thursday night through Saturday.

Sustained winds of 20-30 miles per hour with gusts over 65 mph are possible.

The National Weather Service predicts gusty northeast winds will surface in the mountains Thursday night, and funnel through the mountain passes into the foothills and valleys. Strongest winds will be Friday and Saturday.

Hazardous travel for motorists Thursday night through Saturday possible, especially those with high-profile vehicles.
