Pablitos Sundowner

It was a great location for a Sundowner, on that, everyone was agreed. The fountain was turned on, lights were strung up and Pablo Vazques himself had been brought out of retirement to serve margaritas and act as barman for the night. Now that the restaurant has been taken over by Pablo's wife, it was the first Sundowner the restaurant had done and the town came out in force to welcome her to the Chamber. The tickets showed around one hundred people in attendance, including Linda Haddock from the Chamber of Commerce "It's a fabulous venue" Haddock said "we're thrilled to have them as a member and look at the fountain and the lights, I see such magic in this place."

Dan Wright was helping with the raffle which had some great prizes, "The patio is one of the best locations in the town." In fact it was impossible to find anyone who had a negative word to say about the restaurant, it's location or how great the venue looked.

One of the prizes on offer was a Solar panel which was donated by Watts New Solar. One of the owners of the business, Todd actually used to work for SDG&E and it was through working for them, that he decided to go in to the Solar business. It was their second Sundowner and they thought donating a panel may be a good idea to inspire someone who might be on the fence about taking the plunge. His good idea proved just that as it was Cathy Gay who eventually won the prize and has decided to offer it to the Episcopal Church. The Church are potential customers of Watts New Solar and hopefully the Sundowner will do it's job and create new business for another one of its members.
