When asked why the happy couple stopped in Borrego Springs to grab a bit to eat, they replied "Its where we met. Right here on the tarmac."

Going only 100 MpH in the air, the couple have already flown over 2100 miles in the open cockpit bi-plane to get to Borrego Springs. "The weather was awesome, a bit cold up there but okay," said Mikolajewski.

"We met a lot of cool people on the way so its been nice." The couple said they loved flying from one small airport to another, and that stopping in Borrego will always be a special memory for them. Frazier states that their final destination will be San Diego, but they will return to Borrego as often as they can.
