Lightening across the valley taken due North of Ocotillo Heights
Last nights storm caused a brief blackout, but also some damage around town. Internet is coming back on but is running slow.
Fire crews attended a palm tree fire at Santiago Estates and a Tamarisk tree fire which was exacerbated by hay bales at its base. Drinkers at The Arches were entertained by a palm tree bursting in to flames which staff managed to extinguish.
