It's October and that means the Borrego Days Desert Festival is upon us! The committee met on Oct. 10 at the Chamber of Commerce to discuss some last minute details.

Some of you might be wondering why Borrego Days is not on the last weekend of October. This is because the festival has always been on the fourth weekend in October; no matter what dates it falls on. Having consistent dates helps the bands and musical talent book their appearance months in advance.
Borrego Days Desert Festival t-shirts will be available on Oct. 15, during the Miss Borrego Springs Pageant and cost $20 each. This year you can choose between a pink, blue, purple or white t-shirt. Note: the white t-shirts come with a pocket and the purple shirt is sleeveless.
The next committee meeting will take place on Oct. 17 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce. Please come find out how you can volunteer to help out at the event!
