On Sept. 29 the Borrego Springs Elementary School held their open house for the family and friends of the 2016 – 2017 students.

Mrs. Sherrilynn Polanco, school Principal, welcomed those in attendance, stating that "It's wonderful to have you here." After a few brief announcements, teachers where introduced and parents had the opportunity to go to their childs classroom.

In Mrs. Reis's second grade classroom, families learned about the current curriculum, how she manages good classroom behavior and some of the work already completed by the students.

Parents are reminded that parent-teacher conference week is Wednesday, Oct. 12 though Friday Oct. 14. If you have not signed up for a time yet, please contact the school.
