The Borrego Days planning committee are coming up with a host of great ideas for the festival and changes to schedules are keeping them on their toes.

Monday Sept. 12 saw Martha Deichler come along with students from the Interact club - they want to be student volunteers at the festival. Approximately 20 kids in the club and more students in the school are willing to earn service hours. They also asked if they could had out fans and ask for donations for their club during the festivities.

Diana Lindsey will be at the festival signing copies of her new book - Coast to Cactus. She is excited and thrilled to be there.

The wonderful Anza-Borrego Foundation donated $5,000 which all helps to reach the final goal in order to pay for the fun and keep party continuing for another year.
