A few words from the new Superintendent Mark Stevens as we approach the first day of school for 2016/2017
Message from Superintendent:
It’s almost time!!! I can’t believe that this is our last week of summer vacation.
School will be starting September 1st. We are extremely excited to have you all back and to welcome both new and returning students. Here are some quick announcements for the new year.
1. Pick up your registration packets in the High school or Elementary school offices. The offices are open from 8am to 3pm Mon-Fri.
2. The bus schedule has not changed.
3. High school schedules will be distributed the first day of school.
4.School will start at 8:10am at the Elementary and 8am for the Middle/High.
I also wanted to add a note about our expanded course offerings at the High School. We are excited to offer a few additional classes online this year, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses. These courses are more rigorous than a typical high school class as they are designed to be comparable to a college level course. To see if your student qualifies and for other information regarding Cal Grants and SATs, please meet with our counselor Elizabeth Stephens.
