Turkey Vultures Around the Circle

Tuesday, Aug. 16, four turkey vultures were seen at the picnic tables at Christmas Circle, meeting with several ravens.
As we approached, the turkey vultures flew the scene and Russell Webb caught a photo of one flying by the street sign.
The vultures are often spotted near the RoadRunner Club and Santiago Estates on Di Giorgio Road. They are thought to nest in the tamarisk trees that line that road
