PR Company to Help ABF Celebrate 50 Years

In time for it's 50th anniversary, the Anza Borrego Foundation (ABF), has employed the services of J. Walcher Communications, a San Diego public relations and marketing agency.
In order to build public awareness of the Foundation and the wide variety of offerings of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, the public relations company will lead ABF's media relations efforts, with the goal of generating increased funds for the nonprofit organisation, building membership and growing visitorship.
As the only nonprofit devoted to assisting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and official state partner, ABF has been helping to protect the Park's more than 600,000 acres and over 1,500 species of plants and animals since 1967.
J. Walcher Communications wide ranging clients include the U.S. Parachute Association, Balboa Park Cultural Partnership,
Pacific Hospitality Group. Salerno Winery, and the San Diego Film Festival to name a few.
The President of the company, Jean Walcher, has over 20 years experience in the communications and marketing field, according to her bio and is currently a board member of Citizens Coordinate for Century 3 (C-3), one of San Diego's primary advocates for urban planning, environmental quality and social progress, and the San Diego County Bar Foundation, an organization that helps provide legal assistance to individuals in challenging circumstances.
